Based on the ILO (International Labour Organization) psychological violence and harrasment includes:
- micro-management and over-attribution of mistakes based on negative stereotypes about the competency and productivity of the disabled person;
- deliberately holding back information vital for effective work performance;
- harrasment, bullying or mobbing behaviour such as yelling, humiliating, threatening, excluding and causing psychological damage, insulting, using hurtful remarks, offensive language, or any form of verbal abuse;
What are the “Effective” mechanism that you are implementing in your company to prevent violence and harrasment?. Based on my previous experiences to have an ethics and compliance hotline to report this cases or to escalated with your manager is not enough.
